Who We Are

Hello, and thank you for visiting our website.  We hope to provide you with lots of useful information that we have spent time gathering over the last few years.  We are local, based in Ellicott City, Maryland and have been in or around Howard County since 2005.  We have witnessed massive growth over the years and have taken advantage of it by getting out to try many of the areas restaurants.  We never realized how much that time in the community, interacting with restaurant staff, patrons, or meeting friends out meant to our lives until COVID took it away briefly.  We were some of the  first ones back in the local eateries and bars as soon as they opened back up.  (Literally the first day they opened). However since then, prices have steadily risen, making it less and less affordable to frequent these establishments on a regular basis.  This  forced us to find a way to regularly get out, while not breaking the bank.  That’s when we discovered something that’s been around forever, Happy Hour.  Since then we have discovered tons of great food and drinks in and around the area, at surprisingly affordable prices.  Ultimately, we found that two happy hour outings could be had at the price of one dinner.  Sharing this information and some of our favorite hidden gems with friends and neighbors became a regular thing.  Eventually, people were reaching out to us for tips on where to go.  Well, that’s what led to this project, and I hope you will find it a good resource as we try to spread the word and grow the community around Howard Countiy”s best Happy hours.  Thanks again, and we hope to see you out.
